Tabanan, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali. This hidden gem has quickly earned a reputation among locals and travelers alike for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional menu that perfectly captures the flavors of the island.

Upon stepping into Kedai M. Aboe Talib, you’re immediately struck by the cozy yet vibrant ambiance. The warm, rustic decor creates a welcoming space that is perfect for both intimate meals and casual gatherings. The restaurant is known for its friendly staff who are always eager to ensure that every guest feels at home, which adds a personal touch to the overall dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re not just a customer, but a part of the local community.

One of the standout features of Kedai M. Aboe Talib is its carefully crafted menu, which blends traditional Balinese dishes with a few modern twists. The restaurant offers a variety of options that cater to all tastes, whether you're a fan of rich, flavorful meats or lighter, vegetarian fare. Among the most popular choices are the ayam betutu, a classic Balinese dish of slow-cooked chicken seasoned with aromatic spices, and the nasi campur, a mixed rice dish that features a colorful array of accompaniments like satay, sambal, and fried tempeh.

What really sets Kedai M. Aboe Talib apart, though, is its focus on using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant’s commitment to freshness is evident in every bite, from the perfectly grilled fish to the vibrant, herb-infused sauces that accompany each dish. For those who enjoy a bit of spice, you’ll be delighted by the sambals that add the perfect amount of heat without overwhelming the flavors.

The drink menu at Kedai M. Aboe Talib is equally impressive. The selection of freshly squeezed juices and traditional Balinese beverages, such as es kelapa muda (young coconut ice drink), pairs perfectly with the dishes. If you’re in the mood for something stronger, the local arak (traditional Balinese liquor) offers a unique twist on cocktails that you won’t find at every restaurant in Bali.

What really makes this restaurant stand out, though, is the attention to detail. Each dish is prepared with precision and care, reflecting the chef's expertise in Balinese cuisine. It’s clear that the restaurant takes great pride in its culinary heritage, and the result is a menu that feels both authentic and fresh. Whether you’re visiting for a casual lunch or a special dinner, Kedai M. Aboe Talib guarantees a memorable dining experience.

One thing to note is the restaurant’s location in Tabanan, which offers a peaceful alternative to the more tourist-heavy areas of Bali. If you're exploring the island beyond the typical hotspots, this is the perfect stop to enjoy an authentic taste of Bali in a quieter, less commercialized area. The restaurant’s location makes it an ideal spot for those wanting to experience a more local side of Bali without sacrificing quality or taste.

Overall, Kedai M. Aboe Talib is a must-visit for anyone in the area. • The legend coffee shop in Tabanan regency. The best taste for coffee around Tabanan. Inexpensive so you can afford it with well-vibe to share your meeting or your bussiness. Easy to find for locals, but if you are foreign, It's located exactly beside of the Bintang Baru shop and Kawan shop.

  • What a people coffee. Coffee with condensed milk cost 8000 rupiah and black coffee (cloth filtered method) cost 6000 rupiah. Their service is fast. They also has lot of indonesian snacks like banana fritter, fried yam, fried tofu, friend tempeh and many more for 1000 rupiah each. This coffee shop already exist since 1940.

  • What an experience! The coffee shop is tiny, it is about 2 meter wide, but have 3 stairs full of customer! Been served coffee lover since 1940, runned by 3rd generation of the family. open daily at 06:00 to 00:00, they kept traditionally way of brewing just as in 1940. one of the legendary place in Tabanan, that you can’t miss! my recommendation is Kopi Susu (8K) and Kopi Saring (6K). also they provide tons of delicious jajan pasar, exactly what you want to chew while enjoying coffee.
